It
is sad day for the nation Mr. Narendra Modi has been nominated as the
candidate of BJP for the post of Prime Minister. A man who had played
on communal passions that led to unprecedented killings, loot and
destruction of Gujarat, a man who always speaks on fundamentalism, who
is close to the corporate world and has no eye for the distress of the
masses has been set up. I have great faith in the wisdom of the Indian
electorate who surely will not hand over the rein of the country to a
man having such blemished black track record. While saying so it is also
imperative to note that the UPA government and the Prime Minister and
the would-be Prime Minister as has been talked about are totally non
performing, corrupt and anti-people. India is in a crossfire. the
country must find out a different social and political combination which
will not only be secular but must be free from corruption and
performance based to bring relief to the distressed humanities of the
country suffering from inflation, unemployment, poverty and destitution.
The shadow of corporate giants over Indian political life must be
ended. However long may be the destination, it is only working for
such a perspective that the country can get rid of such a non-performing
governance and highly tainted fundamentalist political forces. it is
the revolt of the people against these two principal political forces
that can only usher in a blooming future.
